When Mayra entered the wellness space, she began her work offering holistic and wellness therapies to enhance the body and complement its functions to help clients avoid medical problems. She continued this passion in 2021 as the founder and owner of Chicago Wellness Source.
To enhance patient care and ensure exacting standards, Mayra continually pursues excellence in her knowledge and understanding of holistic therapies. She holds seven certifications including:
• National Board for Colon HydroTherapy Credentialing (NBCHT), a nationally recognized body formed to set competency standards for those who practice colon hydrotherapy.
• Advanced Level Certification through the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT), the premiere organization for the purpose of ongoing education, training and certification in the field of colon hydrotherapy.
She is the ONLY therapist in Chicago who has attained this elite level of expertise.
